Located in a stunning 8-acre North Yorkshire estate this family home dates to 1875 and having been neglected for 40 years the new owners were keen to completely modernise this old farmhouse.

Engaged at the early planning stage, KPD methodically researched various historic colour schemes and block-printed wallpapers that would pay homage to its Victorian heritage, whilst creating a distinct personality for each room.  

The client's specific request was to emphasize comfort and functionality, using natural materials to create a luxurious and inviting environment in a rural countryside setting. The incorporation of architectural details, such as carefully crafted plasterwork and authentic panelling, served to safeguard the timeless and exquisite character of this home.
